We explore the tunnels underneath the audtionhouse, and find many treasures and expensive things, including Llewell, the son of Thallia, heir presumptive of the Burning Blood. Several people almost die, including Llewell, but we find the painting of A.R.N. and kill it before teleporting back to Quadroads. We've made a new enemy: Xanathar the Beholder, who owned the horde we raided.

We start the auction, and reach the intermission. We slaughter a bunch of people. Then we get stuck in a puzzle for an hour, trying to find the painting of A.R.N.

The Mummy Lord Degrazil is killed. We start the renewal of Lake Renewal, and discover a population of beings in an underwater forest at the bottom of the lake.

Jun 7, 2025 The Hundred and Twenty-Third Session

After saving one Ascendant, we get boons from the others. Salris experiences an attempt on his soul. We return to Viper's Cove and find the remnants of a ritual. We travel to Sky Diamond Academy, rescue Guy from some vines, and learn that Belladonna has been tracking down parts of her self to reassemble them. There may be a connection between the prophesied stars and her fractured self.

With more fighting through the dungeon, we locate the missing Ascendant and save them with a Teleport. Then we exit the temple.

We decide to go hunt down the missing Ascendant. We enter the damaged temple of Oghma and begin to delve its basement, encountering many different enemies.

We return to Quadroads. The Cultists of the Burnt Tree have been wrecking stuff in Quadroads, and we've been asked to help eliminate them. Also one of the Ascendants might be missing. Moon has a thing for Ryltar.

We continue to explore the Arcadia Infinatum. Jerry delves too greedily and too deep, and gets chased by even more corrupted knowledge-seekers. Rajahtesh tempts Ryltar with all of Ioun's knowledge. Percival is challenged by Jarasoom, the huge Brass Dragon, and doesn't impress him. Embersia searches for knowledge of the Library itself.

After extensive planning, we search around and find the location of the Thieves' Guild base, and throw out the plans. Bugfood's sister Miranda is extracted from her cell, and then we roll Plan A: Percival the Stoat Seller. This allows us to bypass a couple of fights, and cut direct to the Big Bad fight against the entire Thieves' Guild, whom we splatter across their underground lair.

Having teleported to the area near Maymoor, the Party sets out to find Bugfood. Finding him, the Party then sets out to find Miranda. We enter an underground base of some sort, kill some Thieves, and are flushed out when they flood the base. We did not find Miranda, but we did capture a Thief, who gives us directions to where 'The Brigade' can be found.

We learn of the history of the Dereshars' curse, and upset the crew of the Nightmare. Then we sink the ship and return to Quadroads, where we revive Seamus and prepare to go save Bugfood.

Some retconning happens; we pick up some other plot threads. Belladonna still attacks Quadroads; we still brief the Ascendants. Then we go to Dirius' talk and learn of Dirius' upcoming expedition to the First Library in the Red Wastes. Percival's father sends a message. Jerry dreams of Bugfood.

We go to tackle the little ghost, which turns out to be Belladonna. Oops. She's partially freed now. So we go off to find Salris, and aid him in his situation at Viper Cove.

Shopping in Quadroads, and we plan improvements to the Regular Inn. We gain access to the Teleportation Circles of the Temple of Ioun, and check in with Moon. We gain audience with the Ascendants tomorrow. Thrai is happy to hear that we've done some stuff, but now she needs us to deal with a spectre. And Bugfood leaves us a message about Salris.

We return to Sky Diamond and learn some things about Belladonna: she caused the Divergence. Then we go to the pyramid, learn of the Quadroads mission to explore it, and enter ourselves. It's a small little pyramid, but it's also hard to get into without dying. We defeat the first floor, and find the second.

Having finished our goals in the Yuan-Ti temple, we teleport to Sky Diamond Academy. Guy catches us up on the nature of the stars: they represent items made with Fey Seeds. We have 3 of 6, maybe? Also the divination professor at SDA is a fraud, it seems, but for a bard he's really good at teaching divination. We're responsible for his upcoming disciplinary hearing.

We find Ren's body, which is mostly scraps. We then find the portal, and manage to close it. Jerry is a Giant Ape now.

Lanthet is beseiged. We set out to lift the siege by closing the demon portal, which might be in the governor's mansion. After a quick treck through the sewers, and encounters with The Lost Boys and a Sewer Sarlaac, we enter the governor's mansion and kill the Marilith, since she happens to be there. And then we scamper off into the sewers again.

Feb 4, 2023 The Seventy-Ninth Session

We arrive in Lanthet, and discover a city beset by demons. Entering the city, we sneak arounduntil we locate Jerry's family in a beseiged temple. After breaking the siege, we escort the trapped people to a more-defensible location. Kerjes returns, notices our presence, and demands our heads by tomorrow. Kerjes was wounded, and Ren's sacrifice damages her again.

Jan 21, 2023 The Seventy-Eighth Session

The Party departs the Forest with borrowed gear, and arrives in Setton. We kill a Rakshasa that was impersonating Ryltar's girlfriend, but lose the girlfriend. After restocking,we travel to Ren, who tells us that Kerjes is on the move, headed to Jerry's hometown.

Jan 7, 2023 The Seventy-Seventh Session

The Party is captured by the Yuan-Ti. Jerry goes John McClane. The Captain of the Verdant Guard is revealed as an agent of Kerjes. Ryltar rescues the Party with Dimension Door. We set off in search of new equipment, reassurance that Kerjes will not go after Jerry's family, and revenge upon the Yuan-Ti.

Oct 29, 2022 The Seventy-Sixth Session

The people of the forest go their different ways. The West Haven militia returns to the Yuan-Ti stronghold, to attack it, and the Party follows. But we are betrayed by the West Haven captain, leaving Jerry alone and all else captured or dying.

A Potion of Diminuation lets us carry the tree out of the Yuan-Ti stronghold, and we successfully replant the Lady of the Forest on her throne. Percival becomes her Protector, and we return to the Touched village. Jerry cures Majorie.

We slay a great many Yuan-Ti, but not their self-deifying leader. The prophet, Sev, leads us to a fungal grove where the Mother of the Forest sleeps, and we try to wake her, to no avail, It's time to contact Bugfood!

We discover a batch of prisoners in the temple, free them, and arm them. Then we clean up after some guards, before discovering the biggest baddie yet in the room: A Yuan-Ti Abomination.

The Party reconnoiters the Yuan-ti city, then waits for an opportune moment to sneak in. Under heavy rain, we enter the city, and blast our way into the temple, killing guards with overpowered magic, and finally we come to the open stone door. Inside is a dark room, and noises.

Commissioned by the Ancient Elm, the Party goes to find the Mother of the Forest, who may have been kidnapped by the Yuan-Ti. We find a Yuan-Ti compound in the forest, and Salris reconnoiters it.

Jun 11, 2022 The Sixty-Eighth Session

Percival emerges from a short coma determined to help the Forest. We persuade him to join us on our quest to rid the forest of corruption, permanently. To the northwest we travel, and get caught in a series of painful encounters. Jerry almost dies.

May 28, 2022 The Sixty-Seventh Session

Heading to the Jimenju tree to find out more about how to become TOuched be the Forest, we encounter Percival. He's pursued by one of the Eyes of the Forest, which we kill. Salris' new patron expresses itself in his casting. Then the half-Elf Werebear Fernard leads us to the Jimenju tree, which is very very creepy.

May 14, 2022 The Sixty-Sixth Session

The Party continues snooping upon Majorie's Tribe, and eventually confronts her. We are introduced to the tribe, and the Speaker, and learn of the mysteries of the forest. The tribe are eating poison all the time, but aren't harmed because they're Touched By The Forest. They do this to prevent the spread of the forest's corruption, when the Assassin killed the mother of the forest, leaving behind the Ancient Elm and the Assassin's Tears.

A.R.N. pays the Party with a quick teleport to the Kulahaar Wilds, where Majorie was last seen in a scrying painting. There, we cross some weird forests to snoop on Majorie's Tribe. They're doing weird things, staring at the sky all night, with glowing eyes.

With the artist A.R.N. saved, the Party returns to The Hunter's Table to rest. Vurguron finds a friend of his father, who challenges Vurguron to a fight so that he may hand over a legendary shield to Vurguron. The Party restocks on potions, and then returns to A.R.N. to get paid. A.R.N. does some scrying, and we see our first image of Majorie in a long time.

The Party explores more of ARN's mansion, and wins a poetry slam battle. Then we find ARN, and the statue that ARN is carving. The Party nearly dies in the process.

We begin to explore the second floor of A.R.N.'s mansion, and discover the basement accidentally. With the assistance of a painting, we manage not to die as we make our way through the courtyard into another section of the basement, and from there, into the kitchen. There's more tunnels left to explore, however, and we're still in pretty bad shape.

Majorie is alive and with her tribe, so the Party decides to go do some social networking by rescuing A.R.N. The first few rooms of the mansion of A.R.N. nearly kill us.

Feb 5, 2022 The Sixtieth Session

The Party arrives in Setton, and visits a hunters' guild. The Party learns of a quest to to save an artist, missing in a mansion. Ryltar makes friends with the Half-Orc scroll-scribe Guleva. Salris changes patrons. Jerry ponders our next steps.

Jan 22, 2022 The Fifty-Ninth Session

The Tall Missionary takes the Noble Daughter hostage, and dies an innocent at Ryltar's wand. The murderer is revealed as a Rakshasa, which had disguised itself as the Noble Husband. The sea monster disappears, but a curse lingers over the ship until it is removed. The ship is repaird and sails on. The Party offers custodianship of the Regular Inn to the ship's boy, Xander.

We interrogate nine captives about the death of the carpenter's mate, Xaban, but get no useful answers. A baby manticore is discovered in an unmarked crate in the hold, and exonerated of the murder. Its owners, two crewmembers, are chastised. An aquatic beast approaches the ship, and the murderer is revealed.

Dec 11, 2021 The Fifty-Seventh Session

The Cumberlite Isles hide a bloody secret, beneath their verdant hills. We nope the fuck out of there, but not after first going on a drunken bender. The ship's complement discovers a thief onboard, and then a saboteur-slash-murderer.

Nov 13, 2021 The Fifty-Sixth Session

Salris catches up with his brother, Seamus. Seamus now captains his own ship, cursed to resurrect anyone who dies on board. The Party skedaddle, boarding passage to the Cumberlite Isles, and defeat a Sea Dragon along the way.

Oct 16, 2021 The Fifty-Fifth Session

An energetic encounter with lake trolls on the river to Greyharbor results in four trolls dead and one swimming away. The Party buys supplies for desert travel, and seeks passage on a boat to a new town. Salris finds his brother, and reveals himself to him.

Oct 2, 2021 The Fifty-Fourth Session

The Party talks with an upset Thrai. We mysteriously gain the deed to the Regular Inn in Quadroads. After teleporting to the Woven Council to pick up some potions and say hi to Ren, we fload downriver to Riverbend, and thence to Greyharbor.

Sep 18, 2021 The Fifty-Third Session

The Party is celebrated in Quadroads. Majorie is fine, but in the deserts of the north. Salris decides not to follow through on his latest assassination contract. Ryltar identifies the Far Realm Shard, and attunes to it. The celebrations are attacked by assassins targeting Dirius, and the Party saves her life.

Aug 21, 2021 The Fifty-First Session

We sprint towards Quadroads, interruped only by a midnight battle with Rezzik Brazzik and two bands of assassins. Kerjes is on our tail, as are the Drow. The Drover dies, and Ryltar puts a hit out on Dirius with Rezzik Brazzik. Thrai is aghast.

Aug 7, 2021 The Fiftieth Session

The Party finds Thrai's missing Halfling companion, who is full of spiderlings. He dies. Thrai blows up the cave system, which we escape just barely. We name the ensuing depression as Rogo's Lake, after the Halfling. Percival teleports away, and the the rest of the Party begins the trek back to Quadroads. Among the loot is an ominous note messaging Majorie, Jerry's daughter.

The Party defeats the Flesh Weaver, and several spiders die as well. We take a long rest inside a Tiny Hut provided by the new bard, Percival, and discover a giant obsidian pumice stone surrounded by corpses.

Jul 10, 2021 The Forty-Eighth Session

The Party ventures into the spiders' caverns. They discover antimagic spiders, phase spiders, swarms of spiders, lair actions, and the dungeon boss: The Flesh Weaver, an Aberration of Drow and spider and tentacles. Much combat happens, downing Jerry and Vurguron, who are both revived.

Jun 26, 2021 The Forty-Seventh Session

Bugfood disappears to take care of Remmy the Squirrel. The Party leaves Quadroads with a send-off from the Ascendants, and with a small party of escorts for the trip. After many days' hike, and a battle through the spiderwebs, the Party enters a cave.

May 29, 2021 The Forty-Sixth Session

We seek out details and possible funders for a mission to kill the source of the spiders. Little did we realize that the Knights of the Summer Court had become renowned for their defense of the West Haven. The Ascendants, rulers of Quadroads, commission the Party to solve the spider menace, and furnish us with 10,000 gold and a Goliath guide named Razorleaf. She lost her entire scouting party to the spiders, but she knows where they come from.

May 15, 2021 The Forty-Fifth Session

Zelrathi elects to remain on the mountain until the eclipse, to stay with the Couatl known as Arye. The World Spire's fear-reading abilities cause the Party some trouble, until we fly off on Bugfood's giant eagles. We return to the mountain's foot, and then Quadroads, and then the Temple of Ioun.

May 1, 2021 The Forty-Fourth Session

Bugfood meets his doppleganger. Arye reappears. The Party tries not to think about pink elephants. And then we find the Gloom Grove.

Ryltar is lessened. Salris' backstory is revealed. Zelrathi learns how small his patron really is.And the veil between the planes grows thin.

Moon meets Lolth. Jerry meets a Yuan-ti. Ryltar meets Dirius. The climb continues.

The Party begins to climb the World's Spire. Some leave their names at the bottom of the mountain. We take the right-hand path from the House of the Zenith, and encounter the mad man Samuel, a terrible goat, and Bahamut. The Party survives.

Mar 6, 2021 The Fortieth Session

The Party defeats some new spiders, chats with Eta'el, and departs Leen. In Quadroads the Party meets up with Zelrathi and rediscovers Moon.

Feb 20, 2021 The Thirty-Ninth Session

The Party goes shopping, and then teleports to Wint's Lair in the Lost City of Storm's Eye. Wint's Lair has been ransacked, so we head north. Leen is covered in webs, and the gang is trapped in a forge's chimney by spiders.

The Party pushes through to the Woven Council, and gains access to Ren's personal Teleportation Circle. Ren explains the political problems of the Woven Council. Ryltar connects recent events to a prophecy.

The Party travels from Sky Diamond Academy to the Great Banyo Tree, where they traverse an enchanted hedgerow maze, kill many monsters, and discover Kerjes' power. New quest: trap Eta'el.

The Mummy Lord is bluffed, and we escape to Sky Diamond Academy. We tell the Deans about the Mummy, of the aberration spiders, of Moon's betrayal, of the Drow expedition to the Underdark. Moon is summoned to Sky Diamond Academy, and receives her sentance. We prepare for the expedition to Kerjes' Tree.

Nov 28, 2020 The Thirty-Fifth Session

Several days' travel later, we are woken in the night by the distant sounds of cultists sacrificing bodies to a Tree-mother. In the ensuing fight, Bugfood plants a bean. The cultists outclass us, though we manage to kill the reincarnated Jester, and the fight is ended by the bean's sprouting into a mummy's pyramid.

We leave Zelrathi and Moon behind at the Temple of Ioun in Quadroads. Viroth Aiodon, a Blood Hunter, joins the Party. A night in a spiderwebbed village reveals giant spiders full of pink flesh and strange crystals.

This is the region of Grash of the continent Malar in the continent Elantis. The region Grash is just one tiny part of the continent.

Five years ago, the most-recent war ended. The faction(s) that went to war performed the war off to the east; now the combatants are filtering back into this area, settling down, finding a peaceful life.

One line segment of the border of a hex is one hard days' travel. It takes two days to cross a hex. Based on the "Travel Pace" table in the PHB, one day's travel at a normal pace is 24 miles, at a fast pace 30 miles.
